VIP-Ecuador has developed partnerships with veterinarian organizations and private vet clinics and hospitals across Ecuador who needs extra helping hands to carry out their duties. 

Pre-vets, vet students and young professionals will have the chance to observe and shadow local licensed veterinarians. Under professional direction and supervision, tasks might include: animal examination, blood tests, monitoring animal behavior, health checks, checking for parasites, diseases and injuries, application of antibiotics, vitamin enhancement, assisting veterinary surgeon with medical procedures and treatments and general animal care among others.

The most important requirements for this position are: professional demeanor, open mindedness and Spanish language.
